Terms and conditions
These terms are a binding agreement between you and BHUMITAT TECHNOLOGIES (OPC) PRIVATE LIMITED, which operates gavedu.ai. By creating an account or using the service you accept them. If you do not accept them, do not use the service.
1. Who these terms cover
"We" and "us" mean BHUMITAT TECHNOLOGIES (OPC) PRIVATE LIMITED. "You" means the person using the service, or the organisation you are acting for. If you accept these terms for an organisation, you confirm you are authorised to bind it, and "you" then means that organisation.
The service is intended for people aged 18 or over. If you are between 13 and 18 you may use it only with the consent and supervision of a parent or guardian, who accepts these terms on your behalf. We do not knowingly provide the service to anyone under 13.
2. What the service is
gavedu.ai is a hosted software service that lets you converse with, and build agents on top of, large language models — in English and in Indian languages. Some models run on infrastructure we operate; others are operated by third-party model providers we route requests to. Which is which is described in the privacy policy.
Model output is generated, not verified. It can be wrong, out of date, or unsuitable for your purpose. Do not rely on it as legal, medical, financial or safety-critical advice, and check anything that matters before acting on it.
3. Your account
Keep your credentials confidential; you are responsible for activity under your account. Tell us at support@gavedu.ai promptly if you believe it has been accessed by someone else. One person may not hold multiple free accounts to evade usage limits.
4. Your content and your rights in it
You keep ownership of what you put into the service and, as between you and us, of what the models produce for you. We claim no ownership of either. You grant us only the limited licence needed to run the service you asked for — transmitting your prompt to the model that answers it, storing your conversation so you can return to it, and generating the usage counts that bill and rate-limit your account.
We do not use your conversations to train models. We do not sell them. Where a third-party model provider answers your request, that provider's handling of the prompt is described in the privacy policy.
You are responsible for having the rights to whatever you upload, and for the lawfulness of what you do with the output.
5. Acceptable use
You must not use the service to:
- break any applicable law, including Indian law;
- create or distribute malware, spam, phishing material, or content designed to defraud;
- generate child sexual abuse material, or content that sexualises a minor, in any form;
- harass a person, incite violence or hatred against a group, or impersonate a real person or organisation in order to deceive;
- produce or spread election disinformation, or synthetic media of a real person presented as authentic without their consent;
- infringe someone else's intellectual property or privacy rights;
- reverse-engineer, resell, scrape, load-test or circumvent the rate limits of the service, or use it to build a directly competing service.
We may suspend or terminate an account that breaches this clause. Where the breach is not serious and can be fixed, we will normally warn you first.
6. Plans, limits and fair use
Current plans, their prices and their usage limits are published at gavedu.ai/pricing, which is the authoritative statement of both. Limits exist so that one account cannot exhaust shared capacity; if you exceed a limit, the affected feature pauses until the limit resets, and nothing is charged beyond your plan without your explicit agreement.
We may change prices or limits with at least 30 days' notice by email to the address on your account. A change never applies to a billing period you have already paid for. If you do not accept a change, cancel before it takes effect under §8 — that is your remedy.
7. Payment, currency and tax
Subscriptions are charged in advance, monthly or annually as you choose, and renew automatically at the end of each period until cancelled. Payment is taken by our payment processor; card and UPI details are entered on the processor's own hosted checkout and are never received or stored on our servers.
Customers in India are charged in Indian rupees (INR). Customers elsewhere are charged in US dollars (USD). The currency and the amount are shown before you confirm, and the amount shown at checkout is the amount charged. INR prices are inclusive of Goods and Services Tax (GST) at the applicable rate. A tax invoice is issued for each payment. Your bank or card issuer may separately apply currency-conversion or cross-border fees, which we do not control and cannot refund.
If a payment fails we will retry it and email you. If it is still unpaid after that, the subscription moves to the free plan; your data is not deleted, but paid features and paid limits stop.
8. Cancellation policy
You can cancel at any time. Open your account's billing page and cancel the subscription there. Cancellation is self-service, takes effect immediately as an instruction, and needs no phone call, no email, and no explanation. There is no cancellation fee and no minimum term.
- What cancelling does. It stops the next renewal. Your paid plan continues for the remainder of the period you have already paid for, and the account moves to the free plan when that period ends.
- What happens to your data. Nothing is deleted at cancellation. Your conversations and agents remain available on the free plan, subject to the free plan's limits. If a free-plan limit is lower than what you were using — for example the number of saved agents — the excess is archived, not destroyed, and is restored if you resubscribe.
- Deleting the account entirely. Email support@gavedu.ai from the account address. We delete the account and its content within 30 days, other than records we are legally required to keep (see the retention section). Deletion is irreversible.
- Cancellation by us. We may cancel your subscription if you breach §5, or on 30 days' notice if we discontinue the service. If we discontinue it, we refund the unused portion of what you have paid.
9. Refund policy
This section is our refund policy and is separate from the cancellation policy in §8. Cancelling stops future charges; a refund returns a charge already taken.
- 7-day refund on a first subscription. If you are unhappy with a paid plan, tell us within 7 days of your first payment on that plan and we will refund it in full. You do not need to give a reason. This applies once per account.
- Accidental renewal. If an annual or monthly subscription renewed and you tell us within 7 days of the renewal charge, and you have not used the paid features in that period, we refund the renewal in full.
- Service failure. If a paid feature was unavailable for a sustained period through our fault, we refund the affected portion of the period on request, whether or not the 7-day window has passed.
- Incorrect or duplicate charge. Refunded in full, always, with no time limit. Tell us as soon as you notice it.
- Outside those cases. Part-used periods are not normally refunded — cancelling leaves you the time you have paid for. We look at genuine hardship and at anything we got wrong on its merits; ask.
- Not refundable. Amounts consumed through an add-on or overage you explicitly authorised and used, and third-party bank or card fees.
How to request a refund. Email support@gavedu.ai from the address on the account with the date and amount of the charge. We acknowledge within 1 working day and decide within 5 working days. Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method — we cannot pay to a different card or account. Once we send the refund it normally reaches an Indian card or UPI account in 5–7 working days and an international card in 5–10 working days; the remaining time is your bank's, not ours.
Nothing in this section limits any right you have as a consumer under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 or other law that cannot be excluded by agreement.
10. Availability
We aim for high availability but do not promise uninterrupted service. The free plan is provided on a best-effort basis with no service level commitment. Planned maintenance is announced in advance where we can. Where we have agreed a specific service level in a separate written agreement, that agreement governs.
11. Liability
The service is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we exclude implied warranties, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, loss of business, or loss of data that you could have avoided by keeping your own copy.
Our total liability for all claims arising in any 12-month period is limited to the amount you paid us in that period. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded — including for fraud, or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
12. Privacy
How we handle personal data is set out in the privacy policy, which forms part of these terms.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. Material changes are notified by email to the address on your account at least 14 days before they take effect, and the date at the top of this page always shows the current version. Continuing to use the service after a change takes effect means you accept it; if you do not, cancel under §8.
14. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts at Bhavnagar, Gujarat, India have exclusive jurisdiction. Before starting proceedings, please raise the matter with our grievance officer — the details are on the contact page — as most disputes are resolved there.
15. Contact
